The Airstrip is quite a large map. It can become dangerous during Siege rounds and Gold Rush if you're not in an organized team.
The spawn point in the Airstrip is at the back of the main structure close to the spawn point of Idol A. Further references will be made with respect to this point. For example, Siege Area A and Siege Area B are in the front, Siege Area C in the front-left and Idol B spawns on the right side.

The whole map is one big survival area. However, 2 main areas can be distinguished even though they overlap quite smoothly throughout a Survival round.
Survival Area A (Pic. 2.) is at the front of the map at the front hangars. Even though the three main spawn points here are easy to handle at first, you'll get visitors coming from the right wall (with respect to your main spawn point) so it's advised to have at least one player on the right side. There are many strategies for this area - depending on the difficulty level, you can either just stay on the ground or use the main center building as a cover or even spend this round at the top of it, preferably outside (at least at first) from where you can spot the enemies quite early and can cover a broad area from this point.

Survival Area B (Pic. 3.) is at the back of the map where your main spawn point is. Enemies will mostly spawn at the back wall as well as on the back-right side. This area activates one ~10 kills are left and isn't too dangerous as once you get there, the spawn points from Survival Area A won't be active and there are lots of places to find cover on this map. The quickest way to finish a Survival round here is by going through the main building towards Siege Area A and kill enemies on their way to you who will use this route as well.

The 3 areas on this map are the smallest Siege Zones in the game which makes them very dangerous and mostly leaves you open to attacks from all sides. As tempting as it may be to close the three doors on this map - DON'T do this. Why? Explanation follows.
Siege Area A (Pic. 4.) is the closest one with respect to your main spawn point. It covers the open corner at the back of the main building. Enemies will spawn as they would during a Survival round which means that the first wave will come from the front. It's NOT advised to close the door in the front as it'll just make things more complicated. You won't be able to shoot some enemies from a distance as they make their way through the hangar and you will get swarmed by them from all directions: some will come from the top, some from the right which can be hard to kill because of the cargo placed on the right side, and some will flank you from the left when you try to kill those on the right.
This can be a dangerous area when playing on Crushing as well as during rounds 7-10 when PAKman arrives as there aren't really any good spots to take cover here - each one just leaves you vulnerable from a different side so teamwork is essential here especially when there are ~10 kills left and you can expect enemies coming from every side - some who haven't made it there yet that had spawned from the front, and the new spawns from the back.

Siege Area B (Pic. 5.) is pretty much in the center of the map inside the main building close to two of the three doors which, when closed, can put you in a corner. It is NOT advised to close them though. There are 3 reasons for this:
That said, the best strategy is to control the front at first and once 10 kills are left, assign at least one player to check the back. Alternatively, one player could climb up and help out from this vantage point - this is advised if you're carrying a PAK-80 which you can easily carry to the upper area by using the stairs next to the back door and then climbing on the small elevation at the control room.

Siege Area C (Pic. 6.) is at the front-left side close to the Jeep and an airplane. As usual in the Airstrip's Siege Areas, there aren't many opportunities to take cover within the zone. Enemies will spawn as during a Survival round so for the first 15 kills you should concentrate on the front as well as look out for enemies coming from the right wall (with respect to your main spawn point). After the first wave, enemies will spawn at the back end. At this point you can climb on the blue cargo crate and shoot them as they approach if you have a Sniper Rifle, a G-MAL or incredibly good aiming abilities ;)

The chest on the Airstrip (Pic. 7.) can be found at the front of the map, close to Siege Area C. It's directly above one of the spawn points so be careful when you're in round 7 as it's possible that PAKman will spawn there and drop down directly on the chest which is... very unfortunate.

Three idols can be found here, all at the back of the map which makes them one of the furthest idol carriage routes in the game. Idol A (Pic. 8.) is exactly at your main spawn point. Its default carrying route is on ground level to the left side of the main building. Most enemies will choose to go inside the building so it's a relatively safe route in most cases. Alternatively, you can simply throw the idol on top of the building, carry it over the roof and quickly throw it down almost directly on the chest from the ledge at the front.

Idol B (Pic. 9.) spawns in the back, a bit to the right of Idol A, behind the Jeep parked in the back of the main building. The best route is to carry it around the Jeep, up the stairs to the control room, and continue on via the roof.

Idol C (Pic. 10.) spawns on the back-right and it's always advised to throw it on the rooftop of the nearby building. Some people decide to throw it over the wall close to the trashcan, but it's not a good idea as you will have to continue the ground-level route which may not be safe. Carrying it above all enemies is the best and optimal way. Then, one good long throw and it's already at the chest.
