The Fort is one of the three Co-op compatible maps from the Flashback Map Pack #1 released on January 17th, 2012. It's an old map from Uncharted 2, but just like every map in the pack - completely restyled with new textures and new weather conditions.
The spawn point in the Fort is in the upper area closer to the side with the Gold Rush chest. Further references will be made with respect to this point. For example, Survival Area A and the Gold Rush chest are on the right side while all idol spawn points are on the left side.

This is a great map to play Survival on. It's symmetrical so you can always escape somewhere in a dangerous situation and you can quickly move between upper and lower areas by climbing on the statue in the center of the map. Although the whole upper part of the map could be considered as one big Survival Area, it seems like there are a bit more spawns on the right side than on the left side and therefore it's advised to assign a player on each side while the third person can stay in the center of the map to help out on either side as necessary.
Survival Area A (Pic. 2.) covers the right side of the map and seems a bit more dangerous than the left side at first, but due to the architecture of the map, it shouldn't cause any issues as you can easily flee or take cover any time. Also, your teammates can quickly help you out if you're downed or help kill enemies in your area especially when they're equipped with a G-MAL or a Sniper Rifle.

Survival Area B (Pic. 3.) covers the opposite site of Area A and should be occupied by one of your teammates right from the start of a Survival round.

In Crushing, it is recommended to have the team stay around Siege Area B, as this controls the flow of incoming enemies and it is easier to prevent the team from getting flanked easily.
Siege Area A (Pic. 4.) is on the right side with respect to your main spawn point and covers the Survival Area A which makes it a bit dangerous, but now that you will have the whole team in this area, it shouldn't be an issue. It covers the Jeep on the right side so, just as in the Chateau, you can either use it to your advantage or - to be on the safe side - blow it up ASAP and then use it as a vantage point and get a Road Kill medal which will help you earn your kickback (there are no Three-Medal Pickup Chests on any map from the Flashback Map Pack #1 so you'll need to think about earning medals when playing). Kills scored when standing on top of the Jeep (as long as you're within the marked Siege Area) will count towards the round goal.
This area also covers the "back" (the place where the Gold Rush chest is located) which gives you an opportunity to take cover there, but it's also dangerous to do so as you're automatically cornered with no opportunity to flee if necessary and keep in mind that there are two spawn points in the "back". If a team is very strong and organized, you could spend the entire Siege round there. Otherwise, it's advised to stay in the open and have an option to flee or to take cover in the "back". Ironically, if you start at the "back", once you find yourself in trouble, you will lose both these opportunities.

Siege Area B (Pic. 5.) is at the bottom part of the map, right in its center. Note - even though it's quite large and you could think it should be active from the upper area, it isn't. Kills will only count towards the round goal if you stay within the lower part of the map. This area features a good spot to collect some Covert Ops medals as many enemies will drop down in two spots next to the statue in the middle so you and your teammate can use stealth-kill to get them and speed up the killing process.
Although some enemies will come from the sides, most of them will jump down from the upper area. You can even try to shoot them before they do. It's a relatively safe area with many opportunities to take cover (crates and pillars) so an organized team shouldn't have any issues.

Siege Area C (Pic. 6.) - is at the opposite (left) side of Siege Area A. Unlike Area A, it doesn't cover the "back" (the place where the chest is on the opposite side) it still gives you an opportunity to take cover there, but enemies killed from the"back" area won't count towards the round goal so it's advised not to go there if not necessary especially considering the fact that most enemies will spawn at the Survival Area A so you should rather concentrate on covering the center of the map.

The chest in the Fort (Pic. 7.) can be found on the right side with respect to your main spawn point at the very end of this part of the map. On one hand, it's a quite populated area which can become dangerous at some point especially considering the fact that the chest can't be accessed from a different side and you must use the one and only "gate" to reach it. On the other hand - you can take two routes to confuse and lure the enemies away from the chest by using the stairs at the back (located behind you when you spawn) and throwing the idol up on the elevated area - where one of the team's chest was located during Plunder matches in Uncharted 2.

Idol A (Pic. 8.) is on the exact opposite wall than the one described above so it's on the front-left side with respect to your main spawn point. The default and quickest route is simply through the upper area of the map on either side of the hole in the middle. It's highly recommended to escort the idol carrier as enemies will spawn all over the place and there won't be any safe moments during Gold Rush here.
In extreme cases, especially when playing on Crushing, in order to avoid the enemies, you may want to use the long route and throw the idol to the other side in order to carry it through the bottom area of the map and then come up the stairs on the other side or - to shorten it up a bit - throw it down the hole in the middle of the map.

Idol B (Pic. 9.) spawns on the left side of the map in the "back" mentioned in the Siege Area C review above. Again, the quickest route would be simply through the upper level of this map with at least one player escorting the idol carrier or, use the bottom level in extreme situations.

Idol C (Pic. 10.) can be found at the bottom level of the map, close to the left stairs. It may look like you could just grab it and when facing the stairs carry it up there, but these will be the wrong stairs and you'll lose much time to end up close to Idol A's spawn point. It's advised to throw it to the other direction and take the stairs leading to the exit closer to the chest or - if necessary - throw it up on top of the elevated structure and then down in close proximity of the chest.
